This week the challenge question posted by Callapidder Days is:
Where do you get the books you read? Are you a faithful library patron? Or maybe a bookstore junkie? Do you exchange books with friends or family members?
Library – we visit the library frequently during the summer and I always grab something while we’re there. I also have a card to get eBooks from the library near Grammy’s but I always forget to visit there.
Used Book Store – There is this one used book store that I LOVE. It is near the kids school and the soccer field so it’s really quite out of my way. Actually, it is kind of out of the way. It’s on a one way street and they’re doing road work so it’s a bit of a pain right now – which hubby appreciates.
Doubleday – I’ve always loved Doubleday Book Club. I get tons of brand new hardback books there extremely inexpensively.
Barnes and Noble – I have a Nook and I literally have more than a thousand BN.com ebooks on it. Probably at least half are free books that they’ve offered in the last year but… well, that means the rest are not. I really need to stop buying books!!
ARC – I receive ARCs from several companies and book tours however, most of these I do not keep.
Well, actually there are other places that I get books as well, like I spend tons of money at Christianbook.com and can always find a new author or book there. I download eBooks from Sony, Borders, and ChristianBook.com to read on my Nook. I do get some of the Kindle books to read on my PC.
As for family – ABSOLUTELY!! We pass books around like you wouldn’t believe! We all have Nooks and pass those as well as the hardcopies around so everyone can read. (Actually, even my nieces left my house with books from my library when they visited last week!)
What about you?

Disclaimer: Many of the books I receive are given or loaned to me for my review. I am in no way paid for my reviews nor am I bound to give a review of anything except my honest opinion.
