Then things start to go wrong… and Ellie learns that deception isn’t quite as easy as on a stage.
What I liked: The book was a fun mix. I loved watching Ellie try to get herself out of jams that her deceptions had caused. It was also tremendously fun to watch Steven Pierce’s reactions to Ellie’s different characters.
What I didn’t like: It was really slow and I found the suspense a bit more humorous than nerve-wrecking.
