It was just one of those things that happens from being in the wrong place at the wrong time and meeting up with a serial killer. Who’d have thought?
Hannah thought that escaping the madman’s clutches would have guaranteed her life, yet, she’s attacked again in the hospital. This time, an officer named Riley just happens to take charge and offer to keep her safe. Hannah doesn’t think about it too much until she realizes that Riley is after this killer for the retribution of his wife’s murder!
My Thoughts
This was a really good book and I’m really looking forward to reading more in the series! It was a nice mystery but not not intense. It wasn’t really romantic but there was definitely enough romance for the book.
There were only two things I didn’t like about the story. The first is that on a couple of occasions it really felt like PR for the series instead of just normal conversation. The second really wasn’t part of the book but at the beginning it outlines the characters and one of the characters it outlined appeared to be a character in the book, yet, they’re barely mentioned until the end and even then just barely. I kept waiting for the character to appear and it detracted for me.
