Hott Review:

It’s been a while since I’ve read a cozy, years actually. I decided to try Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things to get back into the swing.

What I liked: It took me a bit to get into the slower mystery, but Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things is a great read. I really liked Adri and I LOVED the crafty and recipe intros to each chapter. The pulled the story together and kept everything light.

I think the mystery is one of the better ones I’ve read and the romance was sweet. Adri’s conflicting feelings to the men in her life and trying to make a choice was just too real 😉

It was a joy to read Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things.

What I didn’t like: The beginning of Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things was okay, I didn’t love it, but I also didn’t dislike it enough to put it down. Mostly I was frustrated at how Adri was making things so difficult by hiding everything from the police. But, much of the book focused on getting her out of scrapes she wouldn’t have been in if not for that…

Overall, Diamond Rings Are Deadly Things is a sweet romance, clean read, and viable mystery. I’m glad I read this adorable book!
