Once again, Callapidder Days is posting a challenge question to help us learn more about the other participants in the challenge.
When you read a book, do you read EVERYTHING? In other words, do you read the dedication, the acknowledgement, the foreword, the afterword, the prologue, the epilogue, the appendices, etc.? Or do you just read the “meat” of the book? Or is your approach somewhere in between?
What about you?
I am a meat reader—I hardly ever pay attention to anything else unless it is a glossary of terms used in the book (aka really good if a writer uses Gaelic or some other words that might not be common)
Finding out a little at a time that we tend to have the same likes/dislikes.

I thought the exact same thing!
LOL I like that term. That's me too. I usually skip the extras and prologue.
i like extras except for prologues!! prologues really turn me off. they make me so confused right from the start that I just want to give up. i like all the other extras tho
