“They DO NOT need suits!” I hear screeching from the back seat.
“You don’t know anything! Yes, they need suits!”
Oh my! What on earth is going on now? Do I even want to get in the middle of this? Will it destroy the peacefulness of the six minute ride to the bus stop? Grrr. I better get a ‘mom of the year’ award for jumping in here…
“What is going on? Can’t we even go two miles without you two arguing?”
“Mom! You don’t understand! SHE doesn’t know what she’s talking about!” Bug grumbles.
“Mom, tell him I’m right!” Zany screeches. Penetrating every crevice of my cranium.
Hmmm… count…. deep breath… okay, here goes.
“Could one of you please explain what is so very important this early?”
“He doesn’t believe me” Zany replies as, through the mirror, I see Bug shooting eye daggers at her. “Tell him that if Adam and Eve had not sinned in the garden that we wouldn’t need space suits to go in outer space!”
WHAT!?!?!?!? Are they serious?
“Y…E…S… they would! You don’t know anything! There is still no air — God did not take away the air because we sinned. We would still need to breathe!”
ARGH! Any further questions as to shy I STILL have a headache?
