But no one should have to deal with the things she does! First there’s the crazy mutt, Bella, owned by the homeless man, George, selling papers in front of her shop and scaring away her clients. Then there’s the nauseating repairman that thinks her rent payment should be worked out in ‘private lessons’. Whatever.
Of course, then there’s the dead body…
When Kate finds the George’s body she’s shocked. He was such a nice man – who would do something like this? And why are the police being so abrasive? Luckily, Kate has a friend on the force who vouches for her. Well, sort of.
Kate knows this is no random street crime no matter what the police deem it but the closer she gets the more antsy the police get and the bigger hassle Bella becomes (someone had to take her!). Something hinky’s going on around here!

What I liked: Murder Strikes a Pose was fun! I honestly just spent most of my time laughing. To me this was a cross between chick lit & a cozy. It was a perfect rainy afternoon read!
The characters are fun and don’t take themselves too seriously. We didn’t have any whiny women. The plot was strong and well developed. What more could I want?
What I didn’t like: I’m going to have to wait a bit for Tracy’s next book!
