Jessie is shocked to learn her fairy tale has come to an end. But watching your car being towed from your birthday lunch and then returning home to find it’s been sold and the only thing you can take care your clothes will come as a wake up call.

Jessie didn’t even realize there were problems in her twelve-year marriage and now he’s gone without even a goodbye.

Jessie can’t move on without answers though and income… yes, money and housing are important. But Jessie had no skills, just an excellent wardrobe and an AMAZING friend.

Hott Review:

What I liked: I have no idea how Ms Bricker does it. She makes you feel every devastating blow to Jessie without making it sad. All I felt through the knocks Jessie endured was hopefulness.
Another thing I love is Jessie’s friend Piper. It is wonderful to see real friends portrayed when they’re so few and far between, especially if the SoCal rumors are true!
What I didn’t like: At times it frustrated me how easily Jessie got on with her life. After the initial devastation, I thought maybe she moved on a bit quickly, BUT I think her personality type and naiveté are at fault.

Author Sandra D. Bricker:

Author Sandra D. Bricker Raised as a Cincinnati Kid, Sandie Bricker spent her formative years dreaming about the movies and television shows she would someday write. It came as no surprise to anyone when she packed up her Ford Fiesta and migrated to Los Angeles to study screenwriting.

“But life is what happens while we’re busy making other plans,” she jokes. While searching for a way to earn a living and pay her tuition, Sandie says she “stumbled into” her own business working as a personal assistant and publicist to some of daytime television’s hottest stars. When her mother became ill on the other side of the country, however, Sandie put soap opera clients, film dreams—and Los Angeles—in her rearview mirror to take on a new role: Caregiver.
