It’s time for Guinevere Arlington to practice what she peaches.

The only person running for mayor in the little town of Bethlehem Springs Idaho is a no good weasel, and it’s not even his first term. There is just no one to run against him. If only someone would step up. Or maybe Gwen should just listen to the murmuring suggesting she run. She is uniquely qualified.

Someone is trying to ruin him.

Someone, in addition to the no good mayor, is trying to destroy Morgan McKinley’s chance to build a spa. This spa was the wish of his mother and, though she didn’t live to see it built, Morgan needs to finish it. Even if it means running for mayor to accomplish his goal.

Can they come together against one enemy or will they destroy the town?

Hott Review of A Vote of Confidence :

What I liked: I really enjoyed reading A Vote of Confidence. Everything about Cleo and Morgan seemed so real and so much fun. I liked their animosity towards each other and their inner turmoil concerning the Mayoral race – which was especially fun as I read it right after election time.

What I didn’t like: I felt that A Vote of Confidence started very slowly and was very difficult for me to get interested however once I was interested, I couldn’t put it down. This could be because it’s not my usual snarky read.
