Hott Synopsis:

Josh has been itching to get out-of-town forever. He was the youngest and just defaulted into the managerial roles of the family lodge as his siblings moved on and his parents died. But now, it’s finally his chance… if he convince the others.

Yet, here he is year after year wondering and worrying over the daily management of the lodge and it’s residents. Especially, Rose. Rose, the longtime housekeeper and surrogate mother to the Kowalski kids, is fighting her second bought of pneumonia and Josh can’t decide whether to be more worried about her or how to get everything done – until Katie, Rose’s daughter and Josh’s best friend, offers to move in and help.

Now that Katie’s here, Josh begins to realize that his chum really is a girl and has some, umm, attributes he never noticed.

Hott Review:

What I liked: This was so much fun! I really enjoy Ms. Stacey’s writing. She writes a solid book with fun characters and real situations. A perfect combo!
What I didn’t like: The language and graphic thoughts were more than I enjoy but since they didn’t permeate the book I just skimmed though those.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
