How on earth is Texas Ranger Max Ridell supposed to pose as an undercover EPA agent with the likes of Grace O’Malley in the sheriff’s seat? There is nothing about this job that won’t be like it’s namesake. Except maybe when Max gets around to investigating Grace – he definitely wants to be up close and personal with the sweet and innocent sheriff.
Good book – unfortunate cover.
What I liked: I really liked that it was just light and fun. Even the suspense was fun. I loved that there were so many Hell jokes in the book — just those had me laughing out loud. This makes for a terrific afternoon by the pool!
What I didn’t like: The plot was a bit obvious and the cover, though much better than the original, looked homemade.
