Hott Synopsis

Deceived. Hoodwinked. Played.

BN | Amazon | GR | J.D. Robb

How did Reva fall for this? How is it possible that her best friend and her husband could be conducting an affair behind her back? Thinking back on it now she can connect the dots but – how could they? Well, she’ll show them. Reva will not play the naive victim any longer.

Yet, when she finds them they’ve both been murdered. When Reva comes to after passing out she immediately calls her mother, Caro, who in turn calls the person she trusts most, Roarke. Roarke, of course, trusts his wife, Eve, to find the truth, protect Reva – his head of security – and figure out who framed her so well.

Eve may love Roarke but she won’t allow Reva to walk if she’s guilty. Can their marriage withstand this newest case?

Hott Review

I have a confession. This is my absolute favorite in the ‘In Death’ series. To me, this particular book really puts Eve through the ringer. Sure, it’s a terrific mystery and the plot is encompassing but what really gets you is the turmoil of the characters. If you’ve not read the other books in the series, this is a great book; but, if you have, then it’s a fabulous book.

My Life Verse

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (John 8:7 (KJV))
