Let It Snow

amazon barnes & noble Christianbook.com Goodreads
Nancy Walker and Woodrow Lawing were friends until the night seventeen-year-old Nancy whacked Woody with a snowball and he chased her behind a tree. She kissed him and expressed her undying love, but at his age of twenty-three and being best friends with Nancy’s older brother, Woody didn’t share Nancy’s teenage crush.

Years passed and they went their separate ways, both believing they had been rejected by the other, but when circumstances bring them together again—Woody a bachelor and Nancy a widow—old feelings emerge. They try to revert to being just friends, yet pain from the past has lessened over time and they wonder if it’s really too late for love.

As Christmas snowflakes fall, can miracles really happen?

Hott Review:

Let It Snow is a sweet romance with a really great reminder about allowing God to control our Lives even when we feel like it’s completely out of control.

What I liked: I really liked remembering that it’s okay to start again. It’s ok to feel lost. And, it’s okay to go back. Let It Snow is really a great book with loads of reminders and helpful hints about living your life to it’s fullist, while still allowing Him to captian your ship.

Nancy and Woody’s romance is a meandering one. Watching them remember as they fall in ove again is a great way to spend a lazy afternoon!

What I didn’t like: For me, it was a difficult week and I had a headache, so the shifting timeline for a bit confusing and hard to follow period normally this wouldn’t have been an issue and I doubt it’ll be an issue for anyone else but this particular week it was very difficult. I also had a little bit of trouble realizing the ages of the characters. Figuring that one out definitely changed my perspective on everyone and where they fit together.
