Adam and Justin are on their way to tour the land where anything can happen – Egypt.

They arrive in Johannesburg to meet their Gran and aunt and find the most wonderful thing. Well, it’s horrible, really. The great archeologist, James Kinnaird, has gone missing from his latest exploration. The search for The Scarab King, and he’s disappeared from none other than the land where anything can happen.

What adventures will this family discover as they make their trek across this fascinating land?

Hott Review

A perfect adventure for a middle-grade reader. I’d suggest this book for someone with a reading level just above the ‘Boxcar Children’ Series but ready for a longer and more substantial adventure.

This was a perfect readying level for my second grader but still adventurous enough for my eighth grade.
