Book one in the At Home in Beldon Grove series, The Edge of Light will captivate readers with the true-to-life emotions of one woman’s struggle to survive.
Hott Review:
What I liked: The Edge of Light is a very interesting book. It’s about the growth of Molly after her husband’s death. Molly is a person who isn’t afraid of work and loves with all she is, but she’s doesn’t understand slavery and depends tremendously on those around her. It’s not a bad thing until everything is taken from her and she must find a way to make it on her own. Molly must decide to trust God and to move forward. It’s not an easy thing and her setbacks make for an interesting novel.
What I didn’t like: The Edge of Light is a very slow book. It’s not one of my favorites, but instead something my MIL would love. Much more women’s fiction and very little romance.
Verse Application:
Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
II Thessalonians 3:5 NKJV
