Review: The Rake’s Redemption

Hott Synopsis

What is a mother to do?

For so very long I’ve feared that Imogene would never find someone – yet now it appears that she’s found the wrong someone, Vaughn Everard. He’s a rake!

Worse than that — it appears that Vaughn’s motives may be less than honorable. Not very long ago his uncles was killed under mysterious circumstances and Mr. Everard is trying to get to the bottom of the ordeal. You see — Mr. Everard’s uncle and Imogene’s father were best friends and my husband refuses to see Mr. Everard.

Would he use Imogene to get to her father? Should I stop this flirtation even though he’s the first man to capture her imagination?

Hott Review

What I liked:I really enjoyed this book most of the series. The others spent more time on imagination and this one was more character and plot focused. Besides — I love Imogene.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
