Blossom and Rocky are very sneaky sheep.
They are the sheep who are always looking over the next rise to see what they’re missing instead of being content where God, I mean Murhpy, the sheepdog, puts them. They frequently run away and try to outsmart Murphy in order to get what they think is best for them.
What I liked about this book: I thought it was an adorable way to remind us and our children to be what and where God wants us to be. We need to stop searching for more and start being content because the ‘more’ forever gets us in trouble.
What I didn’t like about this book: Nothing, however, Skeeter didn’t care for it. He was quite frustrated that they just didn’t obey. Of course, he’s more the follower than the leader. Bug was wondering why it took them so long to escape Murphy. However, the metaphors weren’t’ lost on either of them.
Good Book! I think it would make a terrific birthday gift or story-time read for all children!
