ONE BODY. SIX EXPERTS. CAN YOU SOLVE THE CASE BEFORE THEY DO?

It was a case that gripped the nation. In December 2003, Luke Ryder, the stepfather of acclaimed filmmaker Guy Howard (then aged 10), was found dead in the garden of their suburban family home.

Luke Ryder’s murder has never been solved. Guy Howard’s mother and two half-sisters were in the house at the time of the murder–but all swear they saw nothing. Despite a high-profile police investigation and endless media attention, no suspect was ever charged.

But some murder cases are simply too big to forget…

Now comes the sensational new streaming series Infamous, dedicated to investigating–and perhaps cracking–this famous cold case. Years later a group of experts re-examine the evidence – with shocking results. Does the team know more than they’ve been letting on?

True crime lovers and savvy readers, you can review the evidence and testimony at the same time as the experts. But can you solve the case before they do?

Hott Review of Murder in the Family:

What a book!! Murder in the Family brings together so many shows I enjoy in such a way that it’ll be difficult to top. I don’t think words can do it justice. I definitely wasn’t prepared for what I found in these pages when I clicked buy.

I thoroughly enjoyed how the was set up like a behind the screen cold case crime investigation sure show with different experts investigations and advice on how to proceed as they work the case together. It was fun to read the files and feel the impact of the bombshells as they roll out. It made for an emotional journey even as you ask yourself why there is so much emotion in each the professionals.

The case was multifaceted and interesting. There were plenty of twists and the reader needed to determine for themselves which were important to the case and which were just fodder for the ratings. I loved that not everything is what it seems – not to the detectives, not to the specialists, and certainly not to the readers.

Murder in the Family was a great Thanksgiving day read, even if it did make my family wonder if I was planning something 🙂 It was certainly not set up or laid out like I was anticipating based on the reviews (I had my highlighters and notepad waiting and was disappointed to not need them.) However, if you can enjoy a non-traditional mystery, this one’s a great read.
