What a book! The Christmas Town put me right into the loving, compassionate, Christmas Spirit I needed to start this year off right!
At times I did feel that the point of view was awkward, but within sentences, I was back in the groove of The Christmas Town and was able to dismiss those feelings.
I truly appreciated Lauren. There is just something about her that’s so very real. She’s been so hurt by the ones that were supposed to have loved her yet she responds to others in such a loving and compassionate way.
This town of Grandon is something I think about year-round. I wonder how I can emulate that hope and love to those around me. How can I be what they need? How can I be what HE needs me to be? And I pray, I pray that HE’s using these wonderful words to speak to the hearts of others, and that they be more than just a story in my life.
