The great archeologist, James Kinnaird, has gone missing from his latest exploration. The search for The Scarab King, and he’s disappeared from none other than the land where anything can happen.

A perfect adventure for a middle-grade reader. I’d suggest this book for someone with a reading level just above the ‘Boxcar Children’ Series but ready for a longer and more substantial adventure.
This was a perfect readying level for my second grader but still adventurous enough for my eighth grade.
