Being a single mother is hard. Being a single mother to the illegitimate daughter of your deceased husband, the one conceived during your marriage, is excruciating.
But Kendra can’t help but adore the little girl she’s adopted and has sworn to give the home and love Kendra always yearned for. The only thing Kendra can’t give her is a father. Yet, it appears that Madison has already chosen her cowboy father…
I enjoyed this book. While it could be a stand alone book, it leaves you yearning for more Parable. Though the plot was a bit thin, I think that Kendra and Hutch were such terrific characters that I’ll be retreading this one!
