Teaser Tuesday – 05-04-2010

by | May 4, 2010 | Teaser Tuesday | 1 comment

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
— Grab your current read
— Open to a random page
— Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser is from ‘Ceremony in Death’ by J.D. Robb.

“One day I’ll tell you about my granny and her five lovers.”

Five lovers isn’t abnormal for a woman’s lifetime.”

“Not in her lifetime; last month. All at the same time.” Peabody glanced up, deadpan. “She’s 98. I hope to take after her.”
-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|-|
“You’ve been drugged, slapped, tied up naked, and nearly killed, but a rose on your but humiliates you?”

Just can’t miss with an ‘In Death’ book.

To join in on Teaser Tuesday you can either leave your teaser below in the comments or leave the teaser on your site & link to it in the comments.

So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
