Hott Synopsis:

amazon Goodreads
When Amanda Moore’s boyfriend, Jason, gets a cold and decides to bunk at her place until he’s feeling better Amanda knows she’s sunk. It’s the busiest time of the year at work and Jason is so needy when he’s sick even his mother won’t let him visit.

Luckily, she has Christine! Well, maybe… Christine comes up with a well, laid out plan to get Jason to suck it up like women do.

Hopefully, Christine won’t go overboard, Christine does want to keep Jason…

Hott Review:

Curing the Uncommon Man-Cold is a bit difficult to review. It’s an amazing book. It’s fun, it’s silly, and it’s romantic.

The problem with Curing the Uncommon Man-Cold is that it’s so very realistic. When Amanda and Christine were curing Jason I at first thought it was cute but then I was indignant at both the girls and Jason! I was so angry I put the book down and walked away.. then I remember it was fiction.

Yes, J.L. Salter is just that good. He absolutely made me forget I was reading a book & not living through this!

By the way – after the first ten days then life gets back to a normal off kilter and is just fun and romantic again 😉

Author Bio:

My published novels (with Astraea Press) are: “Called to Arms Again” (May 2013), “Rescued By That New Guy in Town” (Oct. 2012), and “The Overnighter’s Secrets” (May 2012). Also the novella “Don’t Bet On It” … which released in April 2014. I have two more novels contracted with AP and expect them to be released during 2014.
With Dingbat Publishing, I have the screwball comedy “Curing the Uncommon Man-Cold” (Dec. 2013) and a contract for its prequel, “Scratching the Seven-Month Itch” (which should be released by July 2014).
Romantic comedy and romantic suspense are among nine completed novel manuscripts.
I’ve also published — as a short companion piece to “Called to Arms Again” — the story, “Echo Taps” (released in June 2013)… and a short story in the AP anthology, “Love and Diamonds”.
I’m co-author of two non-fiction monographs (about librarianship) with a royalty publisher, plus a signed chapter in another book and a signed article in a specialty encyclopedia. I’ve also published articles, book reviews, and over 120 poems; my writing has won nearly 40 awards, including several in national contests. As a newspaper photo-journalist, I published about 150 bylined newspaper articles, and some 100 bylined photos.
I worked nearly 30 years in the field of librarianship. I’m a decorated veteran of U.S. Air Force (including a remote tour of duty in the Arctic, at Thule AB in N.W. Greenland).
I’m the married parent of two and grandparent of six.
