As the youngest of a wealthy and influential Hollywood family Rachel has spent her life avoiding the paparazzi. They have hounded her and stalked her. She has molded her life to stay out of the limelight – and that included distancing herself from her family’s company Limelight Entertainment. She’s fashioned her career to remain away from the camera – who wants a picture of a make-up artist. And, she’s submitted all of her paintings anonymously. Right now, Rachel is putting her career first and making sure that she follows her dreams before it’s too late.

Ethan Chambers has done the opposite. As the youngest of a wealthy and influential Napa Valley family he’s spent his life lapping up the limelight. Especially now that it’s helping to further his acting career. He’s not the egocentric playboy that everyone assumes – or the paparazzi shows – but the rest of the world knows that. He still has his family and friends that know the real him. All that matters right now is his career and staying focused on the new series he’s joining. Acting is his dream and he can’t afford to mess this up.

When they become friends to help him avoid the women who just want him for their own purposes neither imagines that it will ever become more.

Brenda Jackson writes a very good story. They are always light, heart-warming, and fun. This story is no different. It’s fun to see the friendship between Ethan and Rachel progress and Ms. Jackson crams a LOT of meat into these short novels.

What I don’t like, it’s well, explicit. Yes, I know that when I pick up a Brenda Jackson read it will be but I do like her writing style I just wish it wasn’t so graphic. I really just skip the parts that

What do you think? Do you enjoy authors where you have to skip over sections – or am I the only one who does this?
