Savannah can’t believe that Hunter would dump her for none other than her sister.
Why on earth would he prefer Jane? Jane’s smart. Jane studies. Jane’s always on time. Jane’s going to the same college as Hunter. Jane looks exactly like Savannah. Huh.
Whatever. What Savannah needs is a true prince. A prince that will save her from her life. No. A prince that will think she is more beautiful than all other. No. A prince to take her to the prom. Ugh! Savannah would be happy with a prince.
In walks Savannah’s Fairy Godmother offering three wishes. Wait a minute. Fair – Not Fairy? Only Fair? Fair because she only got Fair marks in fairy school? UGH!! Will Savannah get a break? Uh, no. Still, Savannah needs someone to talk to so she begins to explain to her Fair Godmother, Chrissy, exactly what she wants but before she even finishes the first sentence she’s poofed back to Cinderella’s castle… And so begins Savannah’s journey.
My Thoughts
You know, I never enjoyed fairy tales. Maybe because I could see so many of the pitfalls of their lives. I mean really – Goldilocks lives with bears, Ariel can’t visit her family, Belle has to snuggle up with something furry – is this truly what I’d want? Not likely! So when I read that Savannah was going to be in the fairy tales she wishes for I was interested. However, I wasn’t prepared that once I picked up the book I wouldn’t be able to put it down. It must be part of the Fair magic!
This is one terrific book – I never knew I could enjoy YA so very much! Thanks Juju – your review helped me to sign of for this when I saw it on the International Book Tour site. & Thank you very much, Janette Rallison, for donating your book.
