Hott Review:
My 13-year old daughter and I each read Love Letters from God: Bible Stories for a Girl’s Heart and we each got a lot out of it.
Love Letters from God: Bible Stories for a Girl’s Heart has wonderful reminders of God’s love for us and how He has shown it. It not only uses actual letters from God but also Bible stories to back up what He’s told us since time began.
This a great book to share as a devotional with the girls you love or even as a storybook to reinforce what is already known… for you and the little ones.
The one thing that Zany and I both disliked about Love Letters from God: Bible Stories for a Girl’s Heart is the artistic license that was taken in the telling of the stories. we both felt that the stories strayed from the Bible more than necessary for a children’s book. It may be that they were taken from the New International Readers Version. I know this won’t bother everyone but do want those to whom it matters to know.

Author Bio:
I grew up in a big old house, with two wonderful parents and seven siblings. My dad was the one who introduced me to the gospel. My mum was the one who encouraged me to work with children.
And at primary school, my teacher was the one who urged me to write. One day a week, I was one of the lucky few withdrawn from the classroom to sit in big, comfy armchairs in the teachers’ lounge. There, in front of a roaring log fire, with pencil and paper at the ready, I would write.
I never would have imagined that four decades later, I would be blessed enough to be an author of children’s books, or be married to a wonderful husband, or be mum to four sons, and a grandma too. But of course, no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)
And to God alone, be the glory.
