A big part in her deciding to settle down is a recent harrowing experience when she watched a store clerk be robbed and murdered by the local gang. Oddly enough, they didn’t even look to see if there were others in the store. Now, though the local gang has closed ranks and is threatening her very existence.
Should Maggie continue to offer to testify? Or should she just forget about it and make her life be intact?
Of course, Maggie’s going to do the right thing! But laying low never has seemed so good. When Maggie sees the flyer for that Intergalactic Matchmaking Service on her windshield she laughed it off thinking someone had a spelling error… until she find out there was no error. Maybe, just maybe, Maggie will find that man she’s been looking for.
Hott Review:
Maggie’s Story was a great surprise! Sure I liked the synopsis when I first read it but, when it times can time to actually put my time into reading it I kept pushing it off because I was afraid it wouldn’t be as awesome and fun as it first sounded.
What a mistake!
First, I really like Maggie! She’s a lot of fun and she has the accountability and maturity that we don’t find many people, even adults.
Second, although there is not a great sense of depth to the story as a whole, there is plenty of depth to Maggie’s personality and character. That more than makes up for anything you may feel is lacking from the story.
There is a little bit of steam in the book, but it’s much less than you would see in a PG movie. Just a couple of references and no details.
Maggie story is a perfect book for a late afternoon or beach read – it’s quick fun and easy! Don’t miss out.

Ava Louise was born a U.S. Army brat overseas, in France. She is the proud mom of two wonderful young men. It’s taken her a while to figure out what she wanted to be “when she grows up,” but Ava has finally found her niche in the writing world. Since writing came to her later in life, she likes to think she is living proof that it’s never too late to reach for a dream or to achieve it.
