Hott Review:
At the beginning of the summer my church began a 13-week study on Daniel. The focus was to be about not compromising in our culture and features decisions Daniel made that are similar to the choices we make every day. This study spoke to my heart. So when I saw on BookLook Bloggers this little devotional about Daniel’s choices, I knew it was the perfect way to compound the study in my life.
I’ve seen The Daniel Key offered as a kindle book, as well as the hardback version I received. While I prefer kindle for most books, I’ll admit that this classic collectible edition wormed it’s way into my heard before I even lifted the cover. Just looking at it was relaxing and I knew it would stay in my heart.
The Daniel Key is the first book I’ve read from Anne Graham Lotz. I really enjoyed her personality, not too girly, not whiny, but always friendly and non-judgemental. I also enjoyed her thought process, make a point, share an applicable story, summarize, and pray. Mrs. Lotz managed to stay reverant while still low-key and friendly. I never felt like I was being preached at but instead felt that she was sharing insights with my over coffee.
The Daniel Key is a sweet book that mage a huge impression on me and that I’m going to read again, and share with friends.
