  • Review: The Girl in the Clockwork Collar

Hott Synopsis

What an idiot! Jasper should have known that Dalton would come after him. Stealing the man’s device was obviously a miscalculation. Dalton apparently cared enough about the device to not only track Jasper down in another country but to imprison the girl that he loved.

Now Jasper needs to get them both out if this mess, before her clockwork collar destroys them both.

Hott Review

I loved ‘The Girl in the Steel Corset‘ and, truth be known, ‘The Strange Case of Finley Jayne‘, as well, but this book fell short of my expectations – until the end, when I just couldn’t stop reading.

I liked Jasper but not enough to feature him in the story. Even as I finished this book it felt like he was still a periphery character instead of the plot, Finley was still the center of this. Overall, though, it is a book that I’ll recommend to my nieces.

    • I really enjoyed the first book & the novella… it’s possible that I just waited too long for this one to come out.
