Hott Synopsis

Findley Jayne is in yet another precarious position.

BN – Amazon – GR – Author

When she decided it was time to get a job she didn’t know it was going to be like this. Oh, the work is fine, it’s that Findley can’t, well, control her dark side. You know that part of you that faces it’s fears and doesn’t allow the lord of the manor to make his unwanted advances. Now she’ll be out on the street without a reference.

Griffin is shocked at he didn’t see that girl before he hit her with his cycle but maybe it was because she was moving so fast… Almost inhumanly fast. His friend, Sam, suggests they take her somewhere – they have a lot to hide and can’t chance an infiltrator. Grif knows that there is a reason he ran into her – is there something he’s missing? Hopefully she doesn’t know anything about the autobots that recently almost killed he and Sam.

Hott Review

I just couldn’t put it down! Steam punk is pretty hit or miss with me. I either love it or I can’t get into it. My very dear friends Bev and Christine suggested I try this one and I just couldn’t stop reading. It’s been such a long time since I craved a book like I did this one. I found myself racing home and reading while waiting in lines.

With the exception of a bit of cursing I’d feel comfortable giving this to any teen – as a matter of fact I sent a copy to my thirteen year oid niece (it’s nothing my brother doesn’t say ;)).
THE THREE R'S

Way back I entered into a steampunk challenge and since then I’ve been floundering. Nothing seemed like a good fit. I kept trying books that seemed to be steampunk but I either couldn’t finish them or they turned out to be not really in that genre.

Until I read Ms. Martin‘s review of The Girl in the Steel Corset. It drug me right in! After reading that there was no way to miss this book.

Thank you so very much for turning me on to a book I didn’t realize that I was desperately craving!

O I am SO glad you liked this.

    Have you read the prequel?

Now that you've read this one you should read the prequel.

I came thisclose to buying this book a couple of weeks ago, but in the end I put it down. So you don't need to read the prequel to enjoy it huh?

Joy – LOL! Juju actually suggests not reading the prequel first.

Juju – the prequel is on my list and I'm so looking forward to it!

I thought it was a good book–I am not to much into Steampunk so there were elements that were very much in that genre but overall I liked the story ๐Ÿ™‚

Gina & Joy: It's true it's true ๐Ÿ˜‰ Read this one first so you don't get addicted to the pace of the prequel.

My Life Verse

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (John 8:7 (KJV))
