Hott Synopsis

| |

What do you see as you look around you?

Can you see that the beggar on the corner has no socks on under his shoes in wintry wonderland?

Can you see the hunger and fear in the child everyone calls a loner?

Can you see the loneliness behind the complaining on the widow next store?

Ever since the tragedy that took her husband and son from her, Gloria can only see the needs of others. It’s all she wants to see.

Until, God gives her what she needs the most.

Hott Review

There is one line in this book that says, “Find out what breaks your heart and get busy.” Ever since reading this book several years ago, I can’t get it out of my head. For me, this has been one of those rare fictional reads that makes you take a hard look at yourself and strive to be what God intended.

Yet, as with watching the sun rise, God is there only if you choose to include his.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
