Desperate to have his son back Dair’s father, Padraig, searches for any healing possible. The only glimmer of hope comes in the form of a few words from an ancient goddess “a holy maid caused this, and only another maid – a virgin pure – can restore” Dair to health.
But Padraig l brings home to Carraig Brigh a maiden pure, but with scars of her own.
Can these two broken people nurture each other back to life before death comes for them?
WOW! I don’t remember the last time I was so sucked into a book! From word one I couldn’t put Beauty and the Highland Beast down. I thought about Fia and Dair constantly. My heart broke for them and soared for them. This is some amazing writing & I can’t wait to read more from Lecia Cornwall!
What I liked: I couldn’t even decide which of the characters I enjoyed most. Every one was so unique and so perfect in Beauty and the Highland Beast they worked together to create a story that, though it had some familiar aspects, was nothing like the fairy tale you’d expect. Both Dare and Fia, and their clans give you more fun, adventure, and romance than one can expect in one book.
I’ll definitely be looking for more from Ms. Cornwall!
What I didn’t like: Absolutely NOTHING!
