Hott Review:

Years ago, I reviewed the first story in this set, 8 (The Previously Untold Story of the Previously Unknown 8th Dwarf), and really enjoyed it. So, when AuthorSidekick approached me to review Talespins I jumped at it.

While I enjoy the traditional versions of fairy tales, I MUCH prefer the redone and more sarcastic tellings. Talespins is no exception! I laughed through each of these verses and didn’t want to put them down. I do believe that Creepy is still my favorite though!

Author Bio:

Michael Mullin lives in Pasadena, CA, although all his sports allegiances remain in his native New England. He wrote TaleSpins, a collection of three twisted fairy tale retellings for YA readers. The first story, which features Creepy the unknown 8th dwarf, has become a cult hit with book bloggers and has also been published in graphic novel form (“8: The Untold Story). Michael is also co-author of several titles in the award-winning Larry Gets Lost™ picture book series and wrote the middle-grade humor/adventure titled Rocketboy: The Return of Dr. Megaton.
He lives with his wife and their teenage twins. The kids pretty much run his life, despite his best efforts to appear as if he is running theirs.

My Life Verse

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (John 8:7 (KJV))
