It’s Not Real.
It’s NOT Real.
It’s NOT REAL.

Kate Massie can remember this fake relationship with James Abell isn’t real as long as it’s a mantra because he sure looks real. Until she remembers his ex. The one he still puts first. And his mother. Ugh – his MOTHER aka master manipulator! No, Kate can remember this is fake. Her sanity depends on it.

James would really like to see where things would go with the adorable Kate but she keeps shoving him back to the “friend” zone. She’s adorable and doesn’t need a keep like his ex did. Plus, Kate can handle his mother. He handles his mother… right?

Hott Review:

What I liked: The Wedding Date is an excellent contemporary romance.

I really enjoyed watching Kate and James work together to make their relationship seem real while they each secretly fell in love. It was adorable and a book to remember.

What I didn’t like: The only things I didn’t love about The Wedding Date are the foul language and the steam. The language wasn’t prevalent but more than I thought necessary. The steam, well, the entire book was pretty steamy but it wasn’t terribly graphic. With the exception of one or two pages it was just sexy steaminess.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
