This book is a freebie on the author’s website and I grabbed it because it was marked as a steampunk & I really need to finish that challenge!! Well, it barely fits into the steampunk category and only in the broadest possible sense but it was a good short and worth the time it took to read it. I’ll definitely be checking out some of his other works this series is in the steampunk genre and based on this short I really do like his writing style. That being said, I picked up the first novel in this series (‘The Affinity Bridge’ pictured above) for only $2.99 at BN.
