Hott Review:
I really enjoyed reading through Everything You Need to Ace American History in One Big Fat Notebook! And considering how much I love non-fiction history books that’s saying a LOT!
First, the book is huge, but because of the imagery and sections, it’s broken down into easy comprehensive bits. Second, the graphics are perfect! They’re just the right amount of fun without being childish or difficult to comprehend. Third, they highlighted, bolded, and made pull-quotes for everything that’s especially important so it’s easy to skim when you’re looking for something specific. And, there are short quizzes included to test you & remind you of the especially important areas.
My kids are out of middle-school but I’ll be keeping Everything You Need to Ace American History in One Big Fat Notebook on my shelf for a reference guide… or scrabble 😉
