Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
Anyone can play along!
Just do the following:
– Grab your current read Open to a random page
– Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page (yes, I generally share a bit more… but it’s just so exciting…)
– BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
– Share the title and author so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser this week is from ‘All I Vant For Christmas’. This is the first of three novellas in ‘The Bite Before Christmas’ Heidi Bett’s Vampiritic take on Christmas romance.
Her stomach chose that moment to rumble, and her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Either she was hungry – it had been several hours since her last meal – or it was her body’s way of telling her to run. Maybe through the kitchen, where she could grab a sandwich, and hide in her room before Conner started regaling her with the gruesome details of how one became a member of the undead Army of Darkness.

Ooh, that one sounds somewhat frightening…LOL

Here is my teaser from Expiation by Greg Messel (page 1):
My sudden and unexpected return to Seattle was about to trigger a chain of events which completely change my life. Three months from this date my career, my life in San Francisco with my daughter and everything I had known before would be radically altered.
LOL
Nice!
That was the reason that I kept reading even though I really didn't enjoy the steam level. When I wasn't cringing I was laughing!
Love the teaser! And hot cover!
