A chance for a whole new life?

Ciara O’Rourke learned to bake sweet treats from the best, her older sister. Now determined to step out on her own, she agrees to start the first cookhouse at Wallin Landing, a tiny settlement north of frontier Seattle. But nothing goes as planned, from the local loggers, who seem more interested in courting than being paying customers, to the baby who’s thrust into her arms by a stranger who rides off whispering warnings.

Kit Weatherly sailed away from his controlling family on a tea clipper to explore the world. He’s since found a true family in the Wallin Landing logging crew. That is, until the pretty new cook informs him he’s uncle to a niece he never knew he had! One look in little Grace’s face, and Kit knows he’ll do anything to protect her. And one taste of Ciara’s cooking has him wondering what he’d have to do to convince her to take a chance on them both.

If you like warm, witty historical romances with intelligent heroines, dashing heroes, and well-researched historical details, then you’ll love this frontier romance by an award-winning author.

Hott Review of Her Frontier Sweethearts:

Let me start by saying that I LOVE to read Regina Scott’s books. First they always feel comfortable. I honestly don’t know how else to convey how ‘at home’ I feel when reading what she’s written. The other reason I enjoy these books is that there’s always a lesson or guidance in them that speaks to whatever situation I’m in. In these books she draws not only my imagination but also my reality.

Her Frontier Sweethearts was a winner for me. I’ve enjoyed Ciara’s personally in many books but I really enjoyed getting to know Kit, and visiting with old friends at Wallin Landing. While I don’t believe you need to have read any of the other books in her series’ many characters from previous books do make an appearance leaving a retuning guest with a much richer experience.

I loved books about protecting children and books about fake engagements so this was a special treat for me. It was well written and didn’t leave any plot holes or gaps but still left the possibilities of the next few books open for our imagination.

Author Bio:

Regina Scott

Regina Scott started writing novels in the third grade. Thankfully for literature as we know it, she didn’t actually sell her first novel until she had learned a bit more about writing. Since her first Regency romance was published in 1998, her stories have traveled the globe, with translations in many languages including Dutch, German, Italian, and Portuguese. She is now the author of more than 50 works of warm, witty historical romance.

She and her husband of 30 years reside in Washington State on the way to Mt. Rainier. Regina Scott has driven four in hand, learned to fence, sailed on a tall ship, and dressed as a Regency dandy, all in the name of research, of course.
