What’s a gal on the run to do when a handsome stranger proposes?
When whimsical Sadie Brandywine went into hiding to evade her manipulative stepfather, she hardly expected the chivalrous cowboy who discovered her to propose marriage to protect her reputation. All she’s ever wanted was a proper home and family. Could this be her chance?
Jacob Willets has one to start the first school in his remote area of Washington Territory. The most scholarly cowboy on his family’s ranch, he’s more comfortable with his books than the ladies, so he’s shocked when Sadie accepts his proposal. But he quickly learns that nothing about Sadie is as simple as yes or no.
Between his boisterous matchmaking family and the danger stalking Sadie, Jacob’s dreams begin to change. Now he just has to find a way to convince Sadie to turn their marriage of convenience into a true love match.
If you like warm, witty historical romances, then you’ll love this feel-good story set in the Pacific Northwest by an award-winning, bestselling author.

Hott Review:
I absolutely adored Hideaway Frontier Bride. Sadie and Jacob’s love story brought tears to my eyes more than once. Watching them navigate their relationship and work towards the marriage they both desired was such a sweet journey that no reader will want to miss.
I will say that Hideaway Frontier Bride really made me think. Mostly about what life was truly like in the late 1800s, for everyone but most especially for women. Being forced into a compromising or unwanted situation by someone who is supposed to want the best for you isn’t unusual even today, but the lack of options these women had is terrifying. Plus, the potential of being trapped for life because of something completely innocent? And cooking… just wow. I’m not sure if it was the book itself or just what I focused on, but I felt much more connected to Jacob and Sadie because of how we were immersed in their homesteading.
If you love historical romance, sweet romance, or just a great book, then Hideaway Frontier Bride is a must-read. It’s definitely a keeper, just like Regina Scott’s other books. I always make sure to keep a shelf clear for her novels!
