Ready or not, Patti finds an evening job for her mother in the kitchen owned by her preferred father, Murphy O’Rourke. Sam knows she should say no, but she’ll be opening her own restaurant next month and can use the cash and the practice.
Murphy O’Rourke’s life is on hold while he decides what he wants to do in the nect stage of his life. What he does know is that it doesn’t include settling down with a picket fence and a cute little red-headed daughter.
Hott Review:
Mrs. Scrooge is a cute fun Christmas read. It’s a typical romance worth fun characters, interesting conversations, and an adorable little girl.
Mrs. Scrooge absolutely need to be on your Christmas reading list!
I’d call it steamy Christian, it’s not uncomfortable steam, but there are some thoughts and conversations that wouldn’t appear in a Christian novel. But the Christian aspect is minor more of just an acknowledgement that He’s where the miracles originated.
