When Princess Lili stumbles upon a warrior of an ancient race hiding in the shadows, she cannot help but wonder how she might help him return to the mysterious wildwood where his kind lives. Kanji Taylen’s mission is to locate a power that is rising, unlike any seen in generations. Lili could help him locate this power and protect it before their enemies can turn it to their own ends. But there’s something about Lili that draws him closer, and soon he faces a terrible choice. In finding this power, will he lose his heart to his princess, or can this unlikeliest of couples find their way to their own happily-ever-after?

Hott Review:

Are you looking for a great book? If you love fantasy, you don’t want to miss Reagan Ellen’s new series. I started with the prequel novella Princess of the Shadows and could not put this down! I was immediately drawn into a new world and I loved every moment. The imagery is absolutely amazing but more importantly it felt so real. Same problems, same families, same drama… Another princess who is in the position to be amazing if only she can overcome the circumstances and what she finds herself.

It’s an absolute must read! Plus, it’s free for subscribing to her email list — Win! Win!

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
