Three full-length Holiday stories are wrapped up for your enjoyment!

A HEAVENLY CHRISTMAS

Jennie Braxton and her two small children are traveling to Philadelphia for Christmas with her family. Car trouble lands them in a magical town called Heaven, PA. Everything about this sweet place seems too good to be true, especially Nick Ryan, a local chef with a heart as big as her own. His sensual smile tempts her from mourning the loss of her dear husband, to look into the future. Can her dreams of finding happiness again come true, or will her heart hide safely in the past?

SOMEONE TO LOVE

Allison Cornwall was forced to leave her hometown in Connecticut and live life on the run from an ex-boyfriend turned stalker. She changed her name and hunkered down in Heaven, PA. The small, idyllic town was— a safe haven where no one could find her. And yet, after a year and a half of peace, he did. Police Chief Ian Brown is determined to keep crime out of Heaven. When Ally fears for her life, he’s there to protect. Recently divorced, he’s not looking for love, but this innocent young woman touches his heart. Can they put their pasts behind them and open themselves to the miracle of Christmas—learning once again to trust and to love?

KISS ME SANTA

Widowed teacher, Cindy Harris, takes her son to meet Santa at the mall, but instead of jolly Saint Nick, they get grumpy Brad Williams. He’d stepped into the red suit to help out his brother, not promise the impossible, like deliver a daddy by Christmas. Brad is the new real estate agent Cindy hired to sell her family home, and sparks fly between them. Will the magic of Christmas open their hearts, and offer the best gift of all: love?

Hott Review:

I was so excited when I saw that this collection of Patrice Wilton’s books was free. I’ve seen so many great reviews featuring her books and have been waiting to try them myself.

It really makes me sad to say that it was ok. I didn’t even get all of the way through the first book, A Heavenly Christmas, before I gave up and found something I’d enjoy more.

There wasn’t anything wrong with the book per se. I just didn’t feel a connection to the characters and the steaminess felt more mechanical than romantic. Plus, I felt like the POV changed or maybe it was a time-warp. I don’t know. It was that I just suddenly felt like a voyeur instead of a participant. It was awkward.

Anyway. Have you read any Patrice Wilson, especially one of these three novels? I’d love to try again but don’t want to be turned off even more. I’m hoping for suggestions…

Patrice WiltonPatrice Wilton knew from the age of twelve that she wanted to write books that would take the reader to faraway places. As a voracious reader, she gobbled up books, and her imagination soared. She was born in Vancouver, Canada, and had a great need to see the world that she had read about.
Patrice became a flight attendant for seventeen years and traveled the world. At the age of forty she sat down to write her first book—in longhand! Her interests include tennis, golf, and writing stories for women of all ages.
She is the proud mother of two, has three lovely grand-daughters, and a wonderful man at her side. They live in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he teaches her golf, and she teaches him patience.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
