Auntie Julie is the Christmas mommy.

That’s Julie Dennis’s role for the next two weeks to her nephews and niece while her brother and his wife enjoy a much-needed getaway. Her only support is the assistant pastor, her former boyfriend who left her behind as he chased after God. Noah Loughlin has loved Julie for a long time. Now that the Lord has brought her back into his life, Noah feels confident he can pursue her as his future wife. But she has wounds she’s never revealed, and the reality of his calling is a threat to Julie’s sense of stability. Can Noah compete with the mayhem of caring for five kids and reach Julie’s heart with only fourteen days until Christmas.

Hott Review:

More than anything Christmas Mommy is a great story about giving your life to Christ. The Ledges and reminders throughout are wonderful and great for Christians, drifting Christian, and for people who have never known him.

Overall I really enjoyed Christmas Mommy. I didn’t love Julie but it was a cute story and I really enjoyed the kids! It very much reminded me of growing up in a household of 5 kids.

Though it’s not really stated Christmas Mommy is several years old. The copyright of the book maybe 2006 but the references to a PDA and the computer comments seemed a bit older. Not that there’s anything wrong with that it just was a bit incongruent.

My Life Verse

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (John 8:7 (KJV))
