Hott Review:

Crystal Gardens is a great change of pace!
What I liked: I’m not a frequent reader of para – and I don’t enjoy vampires, zombies, etc. – but, I do enjoy a good Amanda Quick novel. While there is a paranormal element, generally dealing with auras or senses, her books are just really great novels.
I really enjoyed Lucas and Evangeline (and Lucas’s siblings). Their personalities are likeable and they make the mystery so much more fun!
What I didn’t like: There were times that the story moved too quickly for me and I needed to re-read a section.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!
