Being a librarian is hard work.

BN – Amazon | GR | CBD | Author

You’d think that a love of books would be enough but throw in disgruntled patrons, surprise fire inspections, and a broken air conditioner causing an Arctic freeze and days can rough. Yet, Monah will overcome these obstacles and be ready for yet another day… Until she sees Miss Tait. Miss Tait who is Monah’s biggest obstacle when it comes to the library’s acquisition of city funds for their yearly budget.

When Miss Tait turns up dead it’s all everyone can do not to look in Monah’s direction. Even the detective assigned to the case keeps questioning Monah… and they’re dating! It looks as if Monah, and her never-fail friend Casey will need to solve this case.

Hott Review

I enjoyed the story though it was a bit slow for me (Grammy loved it though). The longing looks and thoughts that Monah and Mike have for each other is pretty sweet. There are references to a previous book but no need to read that if you aren’t so inclined.

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!

Sounds cute but doesn't sound that exciting. Not that exciting is necessary or anything.
