“You know, when you were younger, you used to spend a lot of time reading, I think you were hiding from the pain of losing your dad by diving into someone else’s life – someone else’s story.”
“That’s entirely possible. I still read a lot, and to be honest, I’ve noticed that when I’m stressed, I’ll head for a book before anything else”

Kind of reminds me of me…

** Many of the books I review are Advance Review Copies. These books are loaned to me for my review. I am in no way compensated for my time nor am I asked to give anything but my honest review.

When I would get frustrated about now being able to go somewhere ( as a teen) my mother would say, while giving me a book, 'here let this take you somewhere', she would then give me a nice drink and popcorn or chips. at first i would just stare at the book and honestly thought she was being funny, then one day, the book cover caught my attention and i picked it up and begin reading, well i must say i have been almost everywhere. lol
