Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading
Anyone can play along!

Just do the following:
– Grab your current read
– Open to a random page
– Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
(yes, I generally share a bit more… but it’s just so exciting…)

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!!
(make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

Remember to share the title and author so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser is from:
Reunion in Death
by J.D. Robb

“… You’re married to a guy thirty years, you’ve got a serious investment. Gonna irritate you when he trades you in.”

“I’ll keep that in mind.”

“Me, I don’t hire hits.” She looked up at his mouth watering face, “I’d give you the basic courtesy of killing you myself.”

“Thank you, darling.” He leaned over to kiss the top of her head. “It’s comforting to know you’d take a personal interest in such a matter.”

I love to read! But I don't always think the synopsis on the backs of books do them justice. I do, however, believe all books should come with an intended rating - or at least a steam FYI. So, I'm taking upon myself to educate all -- christian & secular readers, alike -- on the books behind the synopsis and the possible things you may not want your YA reader to see. Enjoy!

I know there are some people who think that these novels are a bit overdone… that people don't talk to each other like Roarke & Eve do… that they wouldn't constantly be getting in each other's business & having the exact same fights.. but, well, that's how it is at my house! We're all sarcastic, nosy tormentors. These books are a stress-free reflection of my life! 🙂

  8. Sarah (The Brazen Bookworm)

I love the word play between Eve and Roarke! And that book is one of my favorites of the series.
