Viola may be condemed to ship headed for the wilderness of New York but that does not mean she has given up on her plan.

The only thing she’s wanted since her family accidentally became mobility is to marry a Duke. Because, really, what else is there?

Then she meets Nathaniel Shaw.

A man whose stolen kisses and pertinent questions make viola wonder what on earth she’s going to do with her life. Or if what she planned is even a life at all. Only a little more time on the ship and possibly she will learn the skill of seduction so that when she returns to England she’ll know how to catch a Duke.

If she decides that’s actually what she wants.

Hott Review:

I really enjoyed A Lady’s Guide to Skirting Scandal. It’s quite a steamy novella, but there is an amazing story included here as well. I literally did not put this book down – start to finish. Luckily, it was a rainy day or I’d have missed an appointment!
If you enjoy steam – A Lady’s Guide to Skirting Scandal is a “Do Not Miss” read. If not, it’s definitely worth skipping a few scenes!

Author Bio:

Kelly Bowen grew up in Manitoba, Canada. She worked her way through her teenage years as a back country trail guide and ranch hand. She attended the University of Manitoba and earned a Master of Science degree in veterinary physiology and endocrinology.

But it was Kelly’s infatuation with history and a weakness for a good love story that led her down the path of historical romance. When she is not writing, she seizes every opportunity to explore ruins and battlefields.

Currently, Kelly lives in Winnipeg with her husband and two boys, all of whom are wonderfully patient with the writing process. Except, that is, when they need a goalie for street hockey.
