Review: The Remedy

I know, I don’t usually do this — four posts about one author in less than two weeks — but, quite frankly, after reading the first book, I begged Serena for the guest post and then… I did the only thing I could, I finished The Remedy. I will warn you though, If I had not already had The Remedy ready to go on my kindle I would have given my life savings to grab it! It’s rare that I’ve read a set of books that wrought so much fulfilling emotion. This is one author to watch!!

Hott Synopsis:

For more than two hundred years E’veria has waited for the ryn to come and save them from the cursed Cobleds. Now, it appears to rest in the hands of a girl, barely tried, and her knight.

Rynnaia has taken the offer made by The First and is ready to start on her quest to find the Remedy. The Remedy is the only thing that can cure the land from the curses and evil wrought by the wicked Cobleds.

One with mane of fire and sky-jeweled eyes
must alone foe engage and settle in eternal cage
.

But will her companions allow her to face the foe alone? Can live live long enough to break the curse? How can this small group of friends defeat something so very powerful?

Hott Review:

What I liked: I enjoyed this book so much more than the first — and I loved The Ryn — this book felt less like fairy tale and more like adventurous history. There was just something about the writing that makes you feel like you’re living each and every word. Each character feels so real and human, the journey dangerous and exciting, and the romance romantic and full.
I was honestly worried that the author would not be able to keep up with the awesome foundation she built in the first book, and I was right, she expended it!
It would definitely be possible to read this novel without having read the first, but trust me… you’ll want to read The Ryn!
What I didn’t like: I have to wait for the next installment of this wonderful series ;(
