No one wants to marry Daphne.
Well, there are a few but there are they’re old enough to be her grandfather or too stupid to have a conversation with. To everyone else, Stephanie is just a good friend, someone that they would like to talk to but not someone that they’d like to take home. Until Simon shows up in town.
Simon can’t believe that Daphne is his best friend Anthony’s little sister, unfortunately, for him that very fact makes Daphne completely off limits but, maybe she could do him a favor maybe Daphne could help to get all of these crazy Mamas and their lovestruck daughters off his case long enough for him to get out of the marriage Mart a bachelor.
It could also help Daphne because then the other guys will see that she’s worth fighting for… although Simon has no idea why Daphne would want someone who didn’t see her worth before this act.
Their act is going really well and they enjoy spending time together. Luckily, except maybe they enjoy each other a bit too much…

I thoroughly loved the Duke and I.
I know I’ve read it before, but it remains one of my absolute favorite books. There’s just something about Simon and Daphne heading up for Stephanie’s mother. That makes me want to make them a part of my life and my family I thoroughly loved the Duke and I. I know I’ve read it before but it remains one of my absolute favorite books. There’s just something about Simon and Daphne, and of course, Daphne’s mother that makes me want to make them a part of my life and my family.
The love, respect, and the fun that they put into their marriage that gives me something to strive for every day. I know it may be a work of fiction but I think it reflects that that’s of a good marriage and the reminders at each of us need in moving on with our lives even if we been hurt by our spouses especially when we need to remember that sometimes when they heard us it’s not because they don’t love us but because they’re protecting themselves from something in their past or something that has absolutely nothing to do with us.
The Duke And I is a reminder to love and to move forward and will always remain on my shelf in every format I can grab.
